Aplikacja Pantag i strona pantag.pl · ostatnia zmiana: 19 października 2026

Aplikacja i strona wysyłają do PostHog zdarzenia o użyciu (ekrany, kliknięcia, skany, zakupy; po zalogowaniu z identyfikatorem konta), a aplikacja do Expo metryki techniczne uruchomienia i do Sentry awarie, błędy i pomiary wydajności.
  • AnyTag i AnyTag Lite kupujesz raz.

Dane usuniesz w każdej chwili w aplikacji: przyłóż tag, podaj PIN, a potem przywróć ustawienia fabryczne albo dezaktywuj tag.

To nasze treści, bez danych o Tobie.

Konto

Skanowanie i sprawdzenie PIN-u działają bez konta.

„Klucze do domu”).

System logowania zapisuje też dane techniczne logowań (adres IP i czas), żeby chronić konta przed nadużyciami.

Konto usuniesz w każdej chwili w aplikacji („Usuń konto”): kasujemy wtedy adres e-mail, sesje logowania, nazwy tagów i powiązanie zakupów z kontem.

W rejestrze tag zostaje oznaczony jako dezaktywowany, razem z numerem tagu, numerem seryjnym chipu, identyfikatorem transakcji i powiązaniem z kontem, żeby włączyć go ponownie bez nowego zakupu. Dla znalazcy jest wtedy zwykłym tagiem NFC. Do nas te dane nie trafiają.

PIN

PIN wybierasz sam i chroni on tag przed zmianami. Nie wysyłamy go nigdzie i nigdzie go nie zapisujemy: aplikacja wylicza z niego hasło zapisane w chipie tagu, a sam PIN znasz tylko Ty.

Aplikacja na telefonie

Aplikacja nie przechowuje danych tagów, PIN-ów ani listy Twoich tagów. Każda zmiana wymaga przyłożenia tagu i podania PIN-u. Jeśli jesteś zalogowany, telefon trzyma zaszyfrowaną sesję logowania (Twój e-mail i token), którą kasuje wylogowanie albo usunięcie konta.

Ceny widzisz w sklepie z aplikacjami, w swojej walucie.

Z App Store dostajemy podpisany paragon.

Analityka PostHog zapisuje w przeglądarce losowy identyfikator (plik cookie i pamięć lokalna), żeby połączyć odsłony z jednej wizyty.

Przyciski „Zadzwoń”, „Wyślij SMS” i „WhatsApp” otwierają odpowiednią aplikację w telefonie znalazcy.

Dostawcy

  • Supabase: baza danych z rejestrem tagów i system logowania, serwery w Unii Europejskiej (Irlandia).
  • Resend: wysyłka e-maila z kodem logowania, potwierdzenia subskrypcji AnyTaga oraz potwierdzenia aktywacji AnyTaga (adres konta, a przy powiązanym tagu numer seryjny chipu i numer PanTag). Serwery w Unii Europejskiej (Irlandia).
  • Cloudflare: hosting strony pantag.pl.
W zapytaniach są dane techniczne (np. wersja aplikacji i systemu, adres IP, model urządzenia), bez imienia, telefonu, wiadomości z tagu, PIN-u, e-maila konta ani numeru chipu.

Podstawa i Twoje prawa

Rejestr tagów, sprawdzanie tagów i konto są potrzebne do działania usługi, którą wybierasz (art. 6 ust. 1 lit. b RODO), a dane techniczne dostawców, zgłoszenia błędów i analityka służą bezpieczeństwu i ulepszaniu usługi (art. 6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO). Masz prawo do dostępu do danych, ich sprostowania, usunięcia, ograniczenia przetwarzania i sprzeciwu, a także do skargi do Prezesa Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych. W sprawach danych napisz do administratora.

Zmiany

Jeśli zmieni się sposób działania aplikacji albo strony, zaktualizujemy tę politykę i datę na górze strony.

Privacy policy

The Pantag app and the pantag.pl website · last updated: 19 October 2026

This is a translation; the Polish version is the binding one.

In short

  • Your name, phone number and message are stored only on the tag, not on our server.
  • You need an account to activate a tag and to save the details the finder sees. It holds your e-mail address, your tags’ numbers, the names you give them and — with Pantag PLUS — three AnyTag activations until you link them to a chip. We show no ads. The app and the website send usage events to PostHog (screens, taps, scans, purchases; with the account id once you are signed in), and the app sends technical start-up metrics to Expo and crashes, errors and performance measurements to Sentry. None of them ever receives tag data, your PIN or your account’s e-mail. We do not turn on session recordings (Session Replay).
  • The server knows the tag’s number, its chip’s serial number and a random id of the last write. That id is not derived from your details and the page never shows it. We do not record who scanned a tag, or when.
  • The phone keeps no tag data and no PIN.
  • AnyTag and AnyTag Lite are bought once. Pantag PLUS is a subscription: three AnyTags while the period is paid. When it ends, the page hides the name and phone number until you renew PLUS. A tag works as long as Pantag runs. If the project stops being maintained, the service will no longer be supported.

Who is responsible for the data

The data controller is Mateusz Urbas. Contact: support@pantag.pl.

Data stored on the tag

On the tag (a PanTag or your own AnyTag) you store the item’s category, a name, a phone number and a message for the finder, and for some categories that category’s extra fields too (such as a reward, a second contact or an e-mail address). You decide what goes there. These details are public: anyone who holds a phone to the tag sees them on pantag.pl. They are not encrypted, because their whole purpose is to let the finder contact you.

The details sit in the address written on the tag, in the part after the “#” sign. A browser never sends that part to a server: the page reads the details on the finder’s phone. We neither see nor keep them.

You can remove them at any time in the app: hold the tag to the phone, enter your PIN, then reset the tag to factory settings or deactivate it. The Account section says when each option is available.

What reaches our server

  • When a tag is checked, the website and the app send its number (PanTag) to confirm that the tag is registered. When the tag holds details for a finder, they also send the random id of that write. The id is not derived from the name, phone number or message and is never shown on the page. The app also sends the chip’s serial number, to recognise a copied tag. The answer is not stored anywhere: we keep no history of scans.
  • The tag registry holds, for each tag: the tag’s number, the chip’s serial number, the chip type, the kind of tag (a PanTag from our shop or an AnyTag activated in the app), its state and the date it was added, and, for your own activated tag, the transaction id from the app store. We also keep the random id of the last official write. Every new write replaces the previous one, so an old copy of the tag stops working. When a tag is bought or saved on an account, we also keep which account bought it (the account id and the date). There is no contact data from the tag and no PIN here.
  • The lists of categories and tag kinds are downloaded by the app from the server when it starts. They are our content, with no data about you.

Account

Scanning and checking a PIN work without an account. The details the finder sees are saved by the account the tag belongs to. Activating AnyTag, AnyTag Lite and Pantag PLUS, and registering a PanTag, require you to be signed in.

You sign in with your e-mail address. We send it a one-time 6-digit code, which you enter in the app. The account lets you see your tags: we store the e-mail address, the dates the account was created and last signed in to, the numbers of the tags activated or registered on it, and the names you give them (e.g. “House keys”). Only you see that name. It never goes on the tag and the finder never sees it.

The account also holds the badges you have earned (which one and when, and whether you have seen it) and badge rewards (an AnyTag or AnyTag Lite waiting to be linked to a chip). The server awards them based on your tags and purchases; the app sends nothing of its own here.

Pantag PLUS stores three regular AnyTag activations on the account before they have a number and a chip. Once one is linked to a tag, what remains is the number, the chip’s serial number, the PLUS mark and the end date of the paid period. After that date the page hides the name and phone number until PLUS is renewed. The details on the chip stay.

The sign-in system also records technical sign-in data (IP address and time) to protect accounts from abuse. The account does not hold the details written on the tag (name, phone number, message) or your PIN.

You can delete the account at any time in the app (“Delete account”): we then erase the e-mail address, the sign-in sessions, the tags’ names and the link between your purchases and the account. The tags keep working, with whatever details are left on the chip.

The details on the chip are removed separately, after the PIN. “Reset to factory settings” is available for a PanTag and a one-time AnyTag: only the number stays on the tag, with no details and no PIN. “Deactivate” is available for every AnyTag. AnyTag Lite and a tag linked to Pantag PLUS have no factory reset next to it. Deactivation wipes the chip. In the registry the tag is marked as deactivated, together with the tag’s number, the chip’s serial number, the transaction id and the link to the account, so it can be switched on again without a new purchase. To a finder it is then a plain NFC tag. None of this data reaches us.

PIN

You choose the PIN yourself and it protects the tag from changes. We never send or store it: the app derives from it the password written into the tag’s chip, and only you know the PIN itself.

The phone app

The app keeps no tag data, no PINs and no list of your tags. Every change requires holding the tag to the phone and entering the PIN. If you are signed in, the phone keeps an encrypted sign-in session (your e-mail and a token), which signing out or deleting the account erases. NFC is used only to read and write Pantag tags; the app reads nothing from other cards (e.g. payment cards).

Notifications are off until you turn them on in Settings. The first time you do, the phone asks for permission, and the app sends our server this phone’s notification token (from Expo), the system (iOS or Android), whether you want notifications and — if you are signed in — the account id. Turning the switch off is saved with that token, and then we send nothing. Deleting the account unlinks the token from it.

Payments

You see prices in the app store, in your own currency. You buy the activation of your own tag (AnyTag or AnyTag Lite) and Pantag PLUS in the app store while signed in: on iPhone in the App Store (Apple handles the payment), on Android in Google Play (Google handles the payment). We pass your Pantag account id to the store so the purchase is assigned to that account. We never see your card number or your store account.

From the App Store we receive a signed receipt. For a Google Play purchase the app sends us the purchase id, and our server asks Google whether the purchase is paid and belongs to your Pantag account. In both cases we store the transaction (order) id with the tag’s number. The number comes from the chip you have just scanned. When you are signed in, the app may send the current receipt or subscription id when it opens, so the PLUS end date matches the store even if a notification from Apple or Google did not arrive. The stores themselves tell our server about a subscription’s renewal, expiry or refund.

Once the tag is in the system, we send the account’s e-mail a confirmation with the chip’s serial number, the PanTag number and the amount from the App Store receipt (with no amount for a Google Play purchase). For a Pantag PLUS purchase we store the subscription id and whether it is monthly or yearly, and send an e-mail saying so. The three tags are then on the account with no number. The chip’s serial number and the PanTag number appear only once you link a tag, and then we send the same e-mail as for a one-time activation.

A PanTag from the shop is saved on your account only when you scan and register it: that is when we learn that tag’s number. Deactivation does not refund the payment. Reactivating the same chip is free.

The pantag.pl website

The website connects only to our server (Supabase: the tag check and the category pictures) and to PostHog. It has no ads, no external fonts and no third-party plug-ins, and the browser gets security rules (Content Security Policy) that block every other connection and every script not on that list.

PostHog analytics stores a random id in the browser (a cookie and local storage) to group the page views of one visit. It collects the address of the page visited without the part after “#”, clicks, where on the page they land (heatmaps) and page load times (Web Vitals). On the /t page it does not send the page title or the text and addresses of the contact buttons, only which button was chosen. You can remove the id by clearing the site’s data in your browser.

The theme (light or dark) and language you pick on the website are saved in the browser, so the next pages open the same way. We do not send them to our server.

How the finder contacts the owner

The “Call”, “Send a text” and “WhatsApp” buttons open the matching app on the finder’s phone. The conversation is directly between the two of you, without us.

Providers

  • Supabase: the database with the tag registry and the sign-in system, servers in the European Union (Ireland).
  • Resend: sending the sign-in code e-mail, AnyTag subscription confirmations and AnyTag activation confirmations (the account’s address and, for a linked tag, the chip’s serial number and the PanTag number). Servers in the European Union (Ireland).
  • Cloudflare: hosting of the pantag.pl website. It sees the standard data of requests to the site (IP address, time, page address), never the part of the address after “#”.
  • Expo: app updates and the EAS Insights and EAS Observe metrics. When the app starts, it asks Expo’s server whether there is a new version and sends technical events (cold start, time to first render and to interaction, navigation between screens). The requests carry technical data (e.g. app and system version, IP address, device model), with no name, phone number, tag message, PIN, account e-mail or chip number. When you turn notifications on, Expo issues the notification token and delivers them through Apple (APNs) or Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
  • PostHog (EU): product analytics in the app and on pantag.pl — which screens and pages you open, what you tap, and events such as a tag scan, sign-in, purchase and tag write; on the website also heatmaps and load times (Web Vitals). For a tap in the app we record the kind of element, not its text. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not turn on Session Replay. We never send the name, phone number, tag message, PIN, account e-mail or chip number; the part of every address after “#” (on the /tpage, the owner’s details) is cut off before sending. Once you are signed in, events are linked to the account id (not to the e-mail).
  • Sentry (EU): crash and error reports from the app (stack trace, app and system version, device model) and performance measurements from some launches (screen and server request times, without their content). We do not turn on Session Replay (screen recordings). By default we send no IP address or user data; the name, phone number, tag message, PIN and account e-mail never go there.
  • Apple: the iPhone app store and payments. Google: the Android app store and Google Play payments. We pass both the Pantag account id with a purchase, and we also ask Google for the state of a purchase or subscription by its id.

Infrastructure providers may briefly keep standard technical request data (IP address, time and, in a request log, also the tag’s number) to protect the service from abuse. We build no history of scans from it and do not use it for anything else.

Legal basis and your rights

The tag registry, tag checks and the account are needed to provide the service you choose (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and the providers’ technical data, error reports and analytics serve the security and improvement of the service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, erased or its processing restricted, and to object, as well as to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland. For anything about your data, write to the controller.

How long the service runs

Activating AnyTag and AnyTag Lite is a one-time purchase. After it, the tag opens the Pantag page and checks its number in the registry for as long as this service runs.

Pantag PLUS is a monthly or yearly subscription in the App Store or Google Play, for three regular AnyTags. While the period is paid, the finder sees the details on the tag. After the end date, the page hides the name and phone number. The details stay on the chip and come back after a renewal, without writing the tag again.

If the Pantag project stops being maintained, the service will no longer be supported: the page a tag opens and the registry may stop answering, and the app will not be updated. The details written on the chip stay on the tag. We do not promise that the service will run indefinitely.

Changes

If the way the app or the website works changes, we will update this policy and the date at the top of the page.
